Abu Saiullah, a senior
Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist linked to three major terror attacks in India, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Pakistan’s Sindh province on Sunday.
Saiullah was under security cover provided by the Pakistani government and had been living in Matli, Sindh. According to reports, he left his residence on Sunday afternoon and was fatally shot near a crossing. The identities of the attackers remain unknown.
The killing of Abu Saiullah comes days after the Indian Army’s
Operation Sindoor, in which nearly 100 terrorists were neutralised. Among those killed were high-value targets such as Yusuf Azhar, Abdul Malik Rauf, and Mudasir Ahmed. The recent surge in targeted operations has also included strikes on terror headquarters like Lashkar-e-Taiba’s base in Muridke and Jaish-e-Mohammed’s centre in Bahawalpur.
Saiullah's death, though not officially claimed by any group, has raised questions about internal rivalries, intelligence failures, or silent crackdowns by Pakistan under international pressure.
