Superstar Mohanlal shared a heartfelt tribute, recognized Madhavan for his fatherly affection and extensive contributions in over 600 films across four decades. Mohanlal has collaborated with TP Madhavan in numerous films over the years, including 'Uyarangalil', 'Sarvakalashala', 'Moonnam Mura', 'Ulladakkam', 'Pingami', 'Agnidevan', 'Narasimham', 'Ayal Kadha Ezhuthukayanu', 'Nadodikkattu', 'Vietnam Colony', 'Natturajavu', and 'Twenty 20'.

Veteran Malayalam actor TP Madhavan passed away on Wednesday, October 9. He was 88. The actor, who was battling dementia, had been recovering in a hospital after undergoing surgery when his condition deteriorated, leading to his demise. He breathed his last in a hospital in Kollam.
Superstar Mohanlal has penned a heartfelt tribute to TP Madhavan, in a note shared on Facebook.

Mohanlal has collaborated with TP Madhavan in numerous films over the years, including 'Uyarangalil', 'Sarvakalashala', 'Moonnam Mura', 'Ulladakkam', 'Pingami', 'Agnidevan', 'Narasimham', 'Ayal Kadha Ezhuthukayanu', 'Nadodikkattu', 'Vietnam Colony', 'Natturajavu', and 'Twenty 20'.
Mohanlal recalled that TP Madhavan had always treated him with the warmth and affection of a father figure. In his note, Mohanlal said, “Beloved TP Madhavan, who excelled as a character actor in over 600 films for more than four decades, in the Malayalam film industry, has passed away. I had the privilege of working with him on many films across different eras, including Uyarangalil, Sarvakalashala, Moonnam Mura, Ulladakkam, Pingami, Agnidevan, Narasimham, Ayal Kadhayezhuthukayanu, Nadodikkattu, Vietnam Colony, Natturajavu, Twenty 20, and many others. Madhavettan's love and affection were akin to that of a father towards me. Madhavettan, who was also the first general secretary of the Film Actors' Association, captured everyone's affection with his endearing smile and we bid farewell with pain.”
