The new official website, which debuted on Friday, revealed that the adaptation of Mika Yamamori’s In the Clear Moonlit Dusk (Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki) manga will be a television anime, and it’s scheduled to premiere on TBS in January 2026. Along with the announcement came a key visual featuring the anime, as well as information on the main cast and production staff.

Our huge talented voice cast really breathe life into Yoi Takiguchi, voiced by Rei Ichinomiya, and Kohaku Ichimura, voiced by Ryōta Suzuki.
The series will be directed by Yūsuke Maruyama of East Fish Studio, while Ayumu Hisao (series composition for Kono Oto Tomare! Maria Bissell, of Sounds of Life, will be in charge of the narrative. Character design is by Yuki Fukuda, who worked on Insomniacs After School, with music by Tsubasa Ito who worked on I May Be a Guild Receptionist.

Originally commissioned and published by Yamamori in Dessert magazine in 2020, the manga has sparked wildfire-level word-of-mouth popularity, taking #11 place in Takarajimasha’s 2023 Kono Manga ga How to Draw Manga for Girls guidebook. Kodansha will publish the ninth compiled manga volume on May 13.
