Avantika first gained recognition in 2015 when she participated in the North American edition of the talent show Dance India Dance Lil’ Masters and became the runner-up. Her passion for performing arts led her to acting, and she landed her first film role in the Telugu movie 'Brahmotsavam' (2016) alongside Mahesh Babu. She continued her work in Indian films, starring in “Premam” (2016) and 'Rarandoi Veduka Chudham' (2017) before expanding her career internationally.
The actress pursued her education while actively working in the film industry. She trained in acting at the prestigious American Conservatory Theater and honed her skills in classical dance forms like Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi. Her background in both performing arts and formal acting education helped her transition seamlessly into Hollywood.
