UIDAI conducted a Proof of Concept (PoC) for Aadhaar-based face authentication during NEET UG 2025 in New Delhi.
Purpose: To evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of using facial recognition for candidate verification in large-scale examinations.

How it works


Real-time verification: Candidates' live facial images are captured at the exam centre.
Aadhaar database match: The captured image is matched against the candidate's photo in the Aadhaar database.
