A 34-year-old man, Sundiri Shankar, was murdered following a dispute over bike parking at a 2BHK housing complex in Venkatapur village. Shankar tried to mediate between Naveen and Venkatesh, leading to a violent attack by Venkatesh and his family. Shankar succumbed to his injuries at a hospital on Sunday.

HYDERABAD: An argument over parking a bike led to the murder of a 34-year-old man at the 2BHK housing complex in Venkatapur village of Pocharam on Hyderabad outskirts. The deceased was identified as Sundiri Shankar.
According to police, on April 1, two persons — Naveen and Venkatesh, who also reside in the same complex, argued over parking their bikes. Shankar, who saw the duo, intervened and tried to dissuade them from arguing.

Enraged over this, Venkatesh attacked Shankar with a boulder. Even Venkatesh's mother, Shannamma, and his sister-in-law, Aruna, also attacked Shankar, leaving him severely injured.
Locals, who saw this, shifted Shankar to a hospital where he died while undergoing treatment on Sunday. Based on a complaint, a case was registered. Police officials launched a hunt to nab the accused.
