NEW DELHI: The
Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) installed posters in Mumbai on Thursday praising the
Indian Army and Prime Minister Narendra Modi following
Operation Sindoor, a joint military operation where indian armed forces targeted nine locations in
Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in response to the
Pahalgam terror attack of April 22.
The posters were displayed near Dadar Station in Mumbai.
Several major cities across northern India have been placed on high alert following the military operation. Amritsar Airport has been closed indefinitely as part of enhanced security measures.
The Centre has scheduled an all-party meeting at 11 am in the Parliament Library building on Thursday to discuss Operation Sindoor. Union Minister
Kiren Rijiju announced this development on his official 'X' handle. Opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will attend the meeting.

The Indian Armed Forces provided details about Operation Sindoor during a media briefing conducted by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, and Col Sophiya Qureshi.
Wing Commander Vyomika Singh stated that Operation Sindoor was initiated to deliver justice to the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack and their families. She confirmed that nine terror sites were targeted during the operation.
Col Sofiya Qureshi presented video evidence during the press briefing, showing precision strikes on
terror camps, including targets in Muridke.
